Lady's Cove, Sisley Dimensions (inches):26 x 33" the work displays the landscapesLady's Cove in Langland Bay by Alfred Sisley. The painting displays a rugged landscape, with a cove beside a cliff right by the beach. Alfred and his girlfriend, Eugnie Lescouzec, spent the summer of 1897 at the Osborne Hotel in Langland Bay, eventually getting married in Cardiff. The lovely couple often enjoyed walking and talking on this small beach, after which this work is named (Lady's Cove), now known as Rotherslade Bay in Wales.
